I'm not sure if you tried here, this was an updated driver:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?ProductID=2229&DwnldID=19472&lang=eng&iid=dc_rss
You have Realtek ALC861 for sound so you might also try here:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/
Try the High Def, then the AC97.

Installing sound drivers

First, visit this website:

http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/gc/gc_drive.htm

Next up select Windows XP Professional as your operating system. Now click, "Drivers." The first result should be the Realtek drivers, which are what you're searching for. Download them. Once they finished downloading open the file and the drivers should be installed automatically.

If there's anything else I can help you with, let me know. If this solution solved your problem, please rate the solution.

Vista compatiable

intel doesnt list any vista drivers for that motherboard on there site so you might run into problems with the intergraded devices such as the ethernet, audio, chipset, & any intergraded video

You might be able to use the xp drivers but if theres problems it wouldnt be supported by intel
