Login to your router
Click to run the "Wireless Networking Setup Wizard", to:
1. set an SSID

3. set a password for your network
Click OK to restart your computer

Use your wireless device to connect to that SSID, using that password that you set.]

Issues with a D Link WBR 1310 Router

Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly
through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem,
that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the
modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings
of the router according to the ISP.

I can't access manually my wbr-2310 (modem router dsl-500b)

you need to configure the wireless on the router through a cable connection at first. after logging in on the router (default admin login and password should be mentioned in the router's manual) you can enable the wireless and the DHCP. to access the router, open an internet browser window and surf to the address http://192.168.0.1, where you will be asked to fill in the admin password.
please keep us posted on any evolution

Wbr-2310 error 112

Check your physical connection first. From the modem, it should be connected to the router's Internet port, then your computer must be connected to port 1 on the back of the router. Then do a power cycle, no need to run the setup CD. If it doesn't work, you need to manually configure the router. You may need assistance from D-Link tech support. Call their toll free number

D-link WBR-2310 has serious drop out problems

I'm pretty sure that downgrading the firmware to 1.0.3 will work. I had been running at this level for quite some time and for some reason I decided to upgrade to the latest version which started the problems for me. I am downgrading to this now and I expect better results. All of the firmware versions are available at http://www.dlink.com/products/support.asp?pid=470&sec=0. You pick the right hardware revision. PLEASE NOTE: Save off/remember your settings as when you change the firmware it resets all of them back to system defaults.

D-link WBR-2310 Stop working

Sounds like a defective modem/modem failure if, it does not reset or if you take all of the other wires out and just leave the power in and none of the other lights go off then that is definitely a defective mode, I suggest either returning the modem to where you purchased it from or calling D link it should be covered under there warranty for replacement.
