Sony sa-w305 hi was wondering if you have the manual for this subwoofer? cant figure out how to hook up this speaker. thanks

Your burned subwoofer speaker is [16cm] one, magnetically shelded type. If it ahs burned out, before replacing an other speaker, throughly check if there ahs some short to its output circuit. If there is a short, the speaker you replace will also will burn out within seconds after switch ON the set. speaker have a 6Ohm impedence and rated at 60 Watts. Frequency response is 20 to 150Hz. Whe buying one these specifications must be noted. You can open its back cover after unscrewing the fixing screws. Do it very carefully and peacefully. OK.

Hi, first take out the old fuse. Make a note of ALL the information on it. Then vist either Radioshack, Maplin (UK) or Ebay.
Make sure you ask in store or the supplyer on ebay to make sure it is a "LIKE for Like" exchange ...all except that the new one should not be blown of course :-)

place it at the corner of the room preferable right near the wall and you will be able to enjoy powerful bass compared to any other position

Yes, you can connect another subwoofer too along with this unit, hook RCA pin in this subwoofer coming from amplifier sub out and there is RA jack line-out, anothersubwoofer can be plugged there. It is mentioned in user manual page-7 and previous expert gave you user manual link to download a copy.

Any 6 " subwoofer will work as long it has the same speaker terminals on the back. Look for a non-powered one to save on electricity.

Check eBay for hundreds of them.

its not broken just turn the cut off frequency to level and the volume of the sub lil bit higher and it should work fine.

Your TV would need an audio-out for this to work. Not all TVs have this.
