Serato is a software to be used with an external soundcard it doesnt care what turntables you have. u have to a rane mixer or one that is serato capable in order to use it. then you have to go and link and sync your time codes

Cant get a digital signal to run serato

It's not really a digital signal, per say. Its an analog representation of a digital signal. This is good because it's easier troubleshoot. The first thing I would try is check the ground wires. #1cause of Serato Traktor problems. If that's not it, play an analog record to see how it sounds. If you have a missing channel, clean the cartridge with a pencil eraser and inspect the stylus and try again. Restart your mixer and computer (this cycles the ground) and you should be good to go.
If not you may have bad cables that will have to be changed. See the thing about turntables is the audio signal never comes in contact with the turntables electronics. it goes from the needle through the arm and out the cables. The cartridge's signal is magnetic not line level so it needs good shielded cables. Perfect opportunity to upgrade the cheap cables from the manufacturer and you can internally ground the turntable at the same time Eliminate the annoying ground wire. It requires a bit of soldering, all amateur stuff. Youtube is filled with tutorials on changing cables and eliminating the ground wire. oh make sure you have a good shielded USB cable.

If this doesn't work I can think of more.
Give more secifics about your setup.

Tonearm not emitting signal into Serato

there is a switch that cuts off the signal when the tone arm docks.check the wiring is not broken inside and that the switch is ok.typically, red green white black red and white are plus and left ground is green and right ground is black.the collar that screws on to the head unit has 4 pins.make sure the contacts are clean.measure the wires one at a time from the tone arm to the rca plugs on the back.the green and black go to the outside collars, and the red and white go to the center pin of the rca plugs

One cdj and one turntable

This is possible, by connecting your turntable to the Line Input on the serato box. Then just connect both to your LINE INPUT on your mixer, and set the controls on your Serato Software to LINE INPUT - NOT Phono.

Tone arm pushing towards the cent or the record

Your tonearm is either damaged, or your anti-skate is not set properly. It should be set to ZERO. Take a look at this video for some assistance...- OPTiC.

Problem

Make sure your ground wire is connected. I know Serato does not work properly if your ground wire is connected.

Also, make sure your running the connection from the Line Out of the Serato box into the LINE IN on your mixer. You can use the Phono Input also, but I generally tell people to use the line input to avoid any issues. Regardless of which input you use, make sure that your Serato software is either set to LINE or PHONO, otherwise it wont run properly.
