WHITE LINES MY SYLVANIA IS DISPLAYING SERVERAL THIN WHITE LINES AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN & DIRECTLY ABOVE THEM IS A SOLD BLACK AREA APPROX. 3/4". ALSO, FOR A BRIEF TIME THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER WAS DISPLAYING A BRIGHT PURPLE CIRCLE THAT EVENTUALLY WENT AWAY. IS THERE SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO REPAIR THIS IN HOUSE OR IS IT TIME FOR A NEW TV? I have almost the same problem but my tv works great but when i watch it, these thin lines are across the top and it seems to look as if the tv is of position but itried to postion it better and it still their. for example if im watching a movie the credits go up and come back down the screen but their upside down and it goes until the line end and it is about a quarter of ther screen.
