I have a BENQ DC E800 camera and i've installed the driver in my BENQ Laptop but every time i hook my digital camera to my laptop it says unknown format and cannot be recognized and on my camera screen "connection failed".. please help.

The self test is failing due to a possible mechanical obstruction in the lens gears. To prevent breaking the lens the camera will turn off. Time to get the lens mechanism fixed by a qualified camera tech.

I have a Benq DC C500 camera and i cant seem to install the driver on window 7, since i got the camera few years back and the cd does not hav thje driver for window seven.... I need to use it as PC cam and...

When you installed the driver do you have connect the camera to laptop, if the laptop cant't find the camera be connect to laptop when you installed the driver it will failed. Else, as to save life of your camera, suggest that to use card reader instead of connect camera to laptop.
