Ok thats easy matie.. u have to go into dos shell and type               "(the drive letter) /FS:fat32" if this doesnt work download FDISK and run it in shell or if u have a old windows installation disk u can get it off that rip it onto your mp3 and boot your pc off it then open fdisk and recreate a fat32 partition on mp3 i had same problem with laserco media player. Disk Problem - may be wrong FAT version suggets using monitor ro reformat disk. prior screenc showed message regaridng error 6019 (that was before my bosses started fooling with the system)

sounds like hard drive fail. take the hard drive out and put on a PC as a slave setting. if the PC picks it up, if it does go to my computer and check hard drive for faults using windows tools the hard drive should be in FAT32. if it will not read in window or ask's to be formated. it has lost is FAT32 format. now it can be remormatted but you will need a FAT32 format softwear as windows dont use this now in there firm wear. down load the firm wear from dedicated micro web site. and put the 3 files on the hard drive boot folder zip file and another one cannot rember name not dv file think it say or the not pad just the 3 files. put hard drive back in as master again. and turn on it should restart. will take a bit longer as it will be opening the zip file and loading the softwear. when its done then you can sort out the setting in the menu etc for record etc.if hard drive has failed and no repairable format it 2 FAT32 and do as above with 3 files. should be fine then. allso in the site is a manual read this for the setting.... think 6019 is hard drive fault

Firelite is formatted for mac only, how do i reformat it to windows or back to the original?

If you are reformatting the disk on a Mac, then open the Disk Utility, then click reformat, and choose the format FAT32. If you have it connected to your PC, go to my computer, right click and select reformat, then choose FAT32.

DISCLAIMER: REFORMATTING AND/OR FORMATTING WILL ERASE EVERYTHING THAT IS ON THE HARD DRIVE. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WANT BACKED UP.

Hope this helps!

My pendrive cant formate if i go for delet it shows specific path is not there

  • 1.Plug your flash drive into your computer's USB port.

  • 2.Click "My Computer" on the desktop to find out the letter of the drive you wish to reformat. For a flash drive, it should be removable disk F:, but check to make sure.
  • 3.Navigate to "Start," then "Run."
  • 4.In the Run window, type "cmd," which will bring up your MS-DOS window.
  • 5.In the MS-DOS window, type "Format F:/fs:FAT32." If your drive is designated with another letter, replace F: with that letter. Change FAT32 to NTFS if reformatting a drive larger than 10GB.
  • 6.Hit "Enter" three times, and you will have reformatted your drive

  • hope this helps you a little:

Can u please tell me how to charge my mp3 player Laser 2G ? its new and they told me that it will be charged when i put it in my computer but i tried and i could not even while my computer is charging .

The MP3 player is charged using the supplied USB cable. When you connect the USB cable into the computer's USB port when the computer is switched on.
If the MP3 player still does not charge, try connecting it to a different computer. If it still does not charge then the USB cable may be faulty.
I suggest you take the MP3 player back to the supplier for a replacement. You should get them to test the MP3 charging.

SANSA C240 FREEZE IN FIRST SCREEN

Remove the battery for at least 3 minutes and then put it back in.. be sure it''s fresh and fully charged

    2. VERY IMPORTANT...Turn the "Hold button" ON.. (slide it to the right)

    3. Now, plug it into the computer, it would be better if you used a USB 2 port that is located on the back of the computer (it''s on the motherboard)
    4. Go to "MY Computer" and see if it shows up as a "Removable disk"
    5. If it''s there, then reformat it to ...FAT32...not FAT.if you need help with reformatting let me know.
EDIT* When I called Sandisk on 1-3-07, the tech I spoke with instructed me to reformat to FAT32. Now (2-14-07) I get this from them..."(select "FAT" if the capacity of your Sansa is less than 2GB. For larger players, select "FAT32"). I found I lost a few megs when I formated to FAT32 on my m240, but didn't notice any other difference.

6 Unplug it and let it finalize. Give it lots of time.
    7. Return the "Hold button" to off
    I hope that helps

    C200 1 gb won't work.

When you plugged it into Windows, it was formatted as a a FAT32. when your friend plugged it into his Mac, it was reformatted as a non-FAT32. You will have to reformat your player, which will end up erasing all of your songs:
WARNING: The following procedures will erase all songs on the player.

Check if the file system is NTFS. If yes, format it to FAT or FAT32. - Connect player to computer, double-click my computer, right click on icon of mp3 player and select format. This only applies to Windows-based computers.
You can also format the player in Windows Media Player itself:
Connect your Mp3 player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "name of Mp3 player here 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
