You should be able to find SD cards in any department, electronics, or office-supply store. Just make sure you get an SD card, not an SDHC card.

I just bought new 4gb sandisk. I have a kodak easyshare cx6330 camera. It won't format. Any suggestions

There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". The most common cause is having the tiny slide switch on the side of the card in the wrong position. There are also other common causes if the above didn't help, with troubleshooting steps for this problem listed here.

Kodak cx6330 will not transfer pics to computer

1) Go to My Computer > Select the photo camera device > Right click > Explore > Copy all files (photographs) as from any normal folder.
2) Take out your SD memory card, put it the USB card reader: http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=516872 If you have a modern laptop - it will have a special card reader slot. Go to My Computer > Select the SD card > Right click > Explore > Copy all files (photographs) as from any normal folder.
3) Try Picasa (picasa.google.com), install, run and import pictures with this program.

The CX6330 works with MMC and SD cards. If your new memory card is larger than 2GB then it's actually an SDHC card and will not work in the CX6330.

You can view/download the manual at the manufacturer's web site at

The CX6330 is designed to work with SD and MMC cards. It will not work with SDHC cards. You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

You cannot use the card on the camera. If you have a card reader or other device compatible with SDHC cards, you should be able to format the card there.

Sorry, but a SDHC card will not work with your camera. Although it looks exactly the same as a standard SD card, the format the card uses is very differnet. Unfortunately your camera was designed before the SDHC format came out.

You'll need to instead purchase a standard SD card (those that are 2GB or less). Forunately these are very inexpensive these days, with 2GB cards going for around $6 with shipping:
