I have the Elna 6003 quilter's dream machine. The problem is that it is stuck in the "bobbin winding" mode and will not allow me to change stitches. I have tried turning it off and turning it back on and no luck. The only stitch I can do is straight. Is this something I can fix or will I need to take it to a repair shop?

Does this have a bobbin winder post and stop at the top right. If so, is the bobbin winding post moved back to normal position or up against the post?

Being computerised, if you have tried powering it down and all the settings are correct, then it might want a trip in the car to see the technician to sort out this fault.

Elna Quilter's Dream 6003 the machine is fine with

Hm, wondering if it could be the presser foot pressure setting. Most machines have this capability where the amount of pressure applied to the feed dogs can be increased or decreased. You might check your owner's manual,.

Elna 6003Q Will not snap out of Bobbin Winding Mode

I gently took a screwdriver and press the plastic base of the bobbin spindle to the left, I guess that the spindle base was not making a good connection, so the computer could not tell if it was still in that mode.  It worked for me. thank-you for your other insights to this problem.

Elna 6003 just stopped working

Something caught inside the machine and jammed the mechanism. It blew a fuse to protect the circuit board. A competent Elna or Janome Dealer should be able to get you machine going in no time.I don't know of any reason to have trouble finding parts for this machine.
