Machine appears to have had a flood fault, have removed water from overfill tray but pump contiues to run.Micro switch for flood level operates and tests ok. Is there another switch which indictes overfill inside cabinet that may cause pump to run continually?
L2 flashes and unit will not step on in program, have carried out a reset with no success, pump continues to run and L2 flashes. Is there a site where I can get a copy of the schematic diagram for this model.
Micro switch was actually faulty, moisture had entered the switch and caused internal tracking and shorting out the micro switch ,making the pump run continually as it thought it was still in flood mode.
Flood appears to have been caused by a pin hole in the water fill hose in the base of the dishwasher, causing water to spray on the micro switch and eventually biuld up in the base of the machine.
Hi KellyW,
The dishwasher drain hose may be clogged. When the dishwashr starts up can you hear the water running into the Sink faucet drain. If not inspect the hose that attaches to the Sink Drain for restrictions. Also in the bottom of the dishwasher you should have a filter. If this filter is clogged you cannot expel water. Clean the filter.
