What type of problem do you have in your mobile, If that is a software problem then You can reinstall your operating system by a mobile os editing software or you can go your nearest service center of sony Ericsson Or you may update your OS by Clicking here. If that is a hardware problem you must go to a good service center. I suggest you that you will go the official service center of Sony Ericsson if possible.

If your player is working, and you already setup menu/settings/sounds&alerts/ring volume 5-8, and silent off you should use your warranty for that phone. That is the problem with most se w890i.

Sony Ericsson W890i ringtone and alarm doesnt make noise walkman works.
The front speaker needs replacing. Songs/MP3's are played through the back speakers, thats why you can hear them when you play them individually.

Ive been quoted around £50 from an online mobile phone repair centre to replace it.

Needless to say, Ive sent my phone back for a refund, and i wont be buying this phone again.
