A flash card wears out every single time you use it. Yours has just reached its end of life - it's dead. Replace it.

If you bought your kingston 2 gb flash drive from over the internet there is nothing that you can do but buy another one i.e. Ebay there are alot of counterfit flash drivers sold out of ebay and when you forma5t the flash drive you find the true size of the drive
IF you bought it from the store and formated your flash drive then there is something can do which is go onto kingstons website and you can download there flash drives format program and correct the bit size to show the correct size again.

If it is brand new, you have nothing to loose: reformat the whole card using FAT32 if possible.

jsut copy a file from your compter like a document to the disk it should do it, if not use disk management tools in xp to check if it's ok.

Go to "Control Panel>>>System>>>Device Manager.Once in Device Manager,then click on "Disk Drives" (Make sure your flash drive is plugged in before you do this).You should see your flash drive listed by it's name (SanDisk Cruzer...). If you don't see your flash drive listed, the computer is not recognizing it and your drive may have been damaged by static electricity. If your flash drive is listed, then it's a more complicated troubleshooting procedeure than I can Walk you through in one posting. So try looking in "Device Manager" and then let me know what happened.

Yeah thats a easy fix. The next time you plug it in to the computer right click on the the Icon when you pull it up under "My computer". This should give you the option to look at the properties of the Flash drive. There should be a n option to format the flash drive. Just format it and the problem is solved.

try a 1 or 2gb drive that sold solve your problem cuz its meant too OR SHOULD hold up too 2gb cuz 4gb is a HIGH CAPACITY DRIVE
