That model has a 14x optical zoom beyond that there is a 4x digital zoom as well. When you are into the digital zoom it can degrade picture quality and make it more difficult to get a stable shot.

You can also check to make sure that Image stabilizer is enabled. Under setting find "IS Mode" Change that setting to continuous. If it is already set to continuous then change the setting to dynamic and see if that improves your quality.

Also pressing the "shoot" button halfway down will focus the camera and then you press it the rest of the way to take the picture this may also help with blurry images.

Make sure you are shooting in a mode with the flash enabled and that should enable the anti-blur features of the camera

  • Anonymous Feb 28, 2011

    HOW CAN I DO THAT?

  • Anonymous Feb 28, 2011

Ensure the mode selection wheel is set to 'Auto' and press the right arrow multiple times to cycle through the flash options - you do not want the icon of a lightning bolt with a line through it.

Replace lense cover on camera

You can try doing a Google search for your camera make model. I did and found this - below.
btw - Canon is spelled with one "n" which might help in your search results. I'd go to canon usa and click on their link or search their store for your replacement lens cap. Different lenses have different sized lens caps, so be sure you have the right one.

I bought a new Cannon PIXMA MX320 with no ink cartridge, the manual says that it requires PG-210 & CL-211, while the cannon site says it works with the PG-510 and CL-511. so my question is do they both...

Hi,

Cannon cartidge numbers are quite confusing to say the least, but your printer requires PG-510 and CL-511, PG is black and CL colour.

The 210/211 is a non european number, but they are the same as CL-511 and PG-510.

Hope this helps.

Actions shots are blured

The various solutions include:

try to set focus range (settings), to infinity or to an approximate distance to the object you need to take a photo of as sometimes the automatic setting does not always do a godd job at focusing , or look at the lens when it is on if its got grease use a wet camera lens cleaning kit (someone touched the glass of the lens ) a s grease makesa it hard for the camera to focus , hence blurrig or go into your options and lower the iso mode or take it off night node if any as the iso mode leads to high exposure time which means any light that changes would record as a smear hence blurring or use flash.
