I have the same problem with our ProStar DCS system. We have LCD12B handsets. The night mode was programmed to come on and go off at a specific time and has somehow lost programming. We now do it manually. Does anyone have the programming code to set this up please??

Which system do you have ? Most can be programmed to turn the nite mode on and off automatically based on time of day. Repost a little more info and I can help. ....Mike

Your J7 is currently in NIGHT MODE. Originating from the very top of your screen slide your finger in a downward gesture two times.... this will review your top menu, then simply click on the icon NIGHT MODE turning this feature off. That will do it..
if you know your password for your phone system do this. enter programming mode by pressing transfer key, type 800 enter your password then volume up key then speaker key. go to program 601 station groups find unused station group ie 510. make this group unconditional and under members add all thr extensions you want to ring then press speaker key. then go to program 406. enter line number of line and under night mode tell it the station group number you programmed above
you need to foward the calls from that handset to the gate, press 601+ ext no. I have loaded a video which will help, go to www.abbeytelecom.com for others like this

I have the manual for the DCS series and there is no help regarding this.
It does say how to turn from auto to manual and make sure that the time is correct.
1. If the manual NIGHT key is pressed BEFORE the system automatically enters night service then the automatic night service timer tables will be overriden until the system is manually restored to day mode.
2. If AFTER the system automatically enters the night service tables and will not be overriden.
