We have problem with JVC TV, we are not receiving the Picture, actually we purchased this TV in Kuwait, we have warrantly for the same. could you pls do the repair for this, can you pls let us know the process where i can solve this problem

Unless you paid for world wide warranty, the TV is only under warranty in Kuwait. If you contact JVC.com and find a service centre near you, they will explain the system.

If the TV you have purchased, can display NTSC system, then only you can use it in US. If it a multi system compatible, it will do without any problem. The TV will automatically select the system, and display picture. If it is not compatible with NTSC, no hope. Check it first. Refer its user manuals' specification sheet for details.
Sony sets will have good picture quality. There is no doubt about it. Check your picture settings. Download the user manual to this set, and refer it. Make sure that all picture settings are correct. Click here to download the user manual to your TV.
if you are going to continue using the rooftop antenna, then you will nee to purchase a digital converter box. Those television sets are only analog. You do have an option to get Directv or Dish network and you will not need a converter box at all. Directv and Dish network are 100% Digital and the receivers work as converter boxes for that product only.

Assuming the CRT is still OK, it could either be: 1. Screen Voltage is low; 2. G2 B+ is out (common problem is a mega ohm resistor open); 3. a resistor gone high (or open) in the DA converter of the controller IC circuitry.
Any of the above would require extensive knowledge of electronic circuitry and components, use of a DVM and a soldering iron. Perhaps your best bet may be to seek the services of a professional.
Pls likewise consider the age of the TV (if a couple of years) and/or the downtime and cost of repair,. it may be more practical to purchase a replacement unit.
