D845GLLY board Sigmatel AC97 audio drivers not supporitng for Windows XP SP3 operating system

The Desktop Board D845GVAD2 offers integrated audio that uses a portion of the Intel® 82801DB I/O Controller Hub 4 (ICH4) with a SigmaTel* STAC9750/STAC9766 audio codec to create the basic audio subsystem.
It has The AC'97 (Audio Codec 1997) specification defines a high-quality audio architecture that advances the migration to digital audio, while maintaining support for analog interconnects for backward compatibility.
So uninstall your current driver otherwise your system will continue to undergo hardware failure & reboot continuously.
If your sound is still not good there's nothing to do except to install a sound card in your PCI slot & get better sound.

Check For AC97 Audio drivers...or from Google.... Exemple, download Lenovo E43 drivers for XP.... no difference if you have SP1, Or SP3, good luck

cheak for ur driver, update sound driver, download real tech AC97, other clean up ur registry keys, download reginout that may help u

all drivers for ur board , i dont understand that ur driver does not support SP3 it is not like that Service Packs always comes with backward compatibility anyways try to install ur driver again and let me know abt the results otherwise i will try to find the updated version from some other sources pls rate me FIXYA for this if u like
