You need to get the cheapest code reader at an auto parts store to shut off the light. You'll need to fix the reason for the light coming on or the light will come back on.

Check the drivers manual to see what the light means, I think the boot light switch wants adjusting or is loose, causing the light on the dash to light up.

Will these lights stay on for an additional 15 to 30 seconds or do they stay on until the battery dies? If it is a delay situation then it is related to the "Day Time Running Light" circuit and is by design. If it is staying on and wont shut off then the "DTRL" control module would be suspected and needs to be inspected. That module is sealed. Please let me know if you have other questions.

Light switch assembly, I would start there. They do fail, and can fail like yours has.

If it's the brake lights, you may need to adjust your stoplight switch under the brake pedal bracket. If it's the taillights, then you will need to trace and diagnose it. Which lights are staying on and which circuit does fuse #23 operate?

the lights you have on are probably the brake lights. you need to check the brake light switch. it is probably stuck in the on position and that would cause the cruise to not function properly because the cruise automatically shuts off when you press the brake pedal.

There is a switch that should shut these off when the front door is opened. Have the dealer fix under warranty.

door pins may be bad, you doors may also be sagging at the hinges causing a bad connection, your lights will dim when you brake because of a draw on the battery, but it sounds like your pin switches are bad

you do have a switch at the top door hinge . make the phillip screw are tight at the top of the door . if they are loose the door will not align in order make contact with that switch. or you may have a faulty light switch

It may be when you open the door .That is what the competitors have so that you know it's finished.When you open the door it shuts the light.........on most brands. PLEASE RATE THIS !!!!!
