thermal limiter shuts down lights if door open too long usually no issues with this i would get your manual and make sure its not in vacation mode

try shutting the power off to the unit, tere is an on/off switch behind the top grill. It will reset the control board.

Remove the center grill of the top grill and shut the power off and back on, the lights should reset

When the lights are working open the Ref door then close the freezer drawer, watching to see if the light in the freezer shuts off. It should shut off when the freezer is about 1" from closing. If it stays on until the door is fully closed then there is a problem with the light switch in the freezer.

Normally when you leave the doors open until the lights shut off, it should reset when both doors are closed

check the door switch sticking or malfunction

Either the bulb is burned out or the switch on the door responsible for turning it on is not working properly.

It sounds like the light switch may be keeping the light on when the door is closed. Faulty Switch. Regards Advisor

To further assist the previous answer, if door left open long enough it auto shuts off as those lights generate hi heat . Turn main power switch off then on to reset.

sounds like the hinges are starting to ware. Spray q20 or similas and it my make a difference.
