I have a GE Spacemaker, Eterna Series(EMO3000CBB04) that may have taken a slight power hit when a lamp shorted out on the same circuit. A 20A fuse was replaced in the unit but it still does not come on. Are there other fuses or are there other components that may also need to be replaced? Is there a circuit breaker in the unit that also needs to be flipped? Thanks.

SOURCE: No Power, No LED's. Circuit breaker OK

There is an internal fuse, however to access it the unit must come out. The outer case will need to be removed. The following link will take you to GE's website where you can get installation instructions. The fuse is available at ther parts site, but you can get a new on for less than a dollar at radio Shack. Take the fuse with you.

SOURCE: GE Spacemaker microwave JVM140G just stopped

NO internal fuse. It is most likely, the magnetron, and or High power diode. As related In all likelihood the mangnetron has failed, or perhaps even the Power Supply. or a fault that is shutting the system down for safety reasons You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man. Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one.

SOURCE: GE Spacemaker Microwave JVM1441 BH04 tripping circuit breaker

your power transformer for the magnetron could have a shorted primary power winding, the door safety interlock switch could be mis-adjusted,this normally blows the internal unit fuse,a shorted high voltage capacitor,or diode,a bare wire inside the unit, more than the microwave on that circuit or a weak circuit breaker in the house power panel

SOURCE: Will not turn on.

There may be a massive short circuit inside the unit...maybe one or more of the elements...you can try unplugging them one by one to see if you can eliminate the problem....

GE eterna spacemaker microwave won't heat

The problem is a magnetron, "heart of the system" or the inverter board, "if 7 years old or less" and possibly the keypad control board, all of these items are not cheap and lethal voltages are present.

GE spacesaver xl just died. No fan, no lights, no power. Where should I go to repair? I live in Las Vegas

Might want to check the 20A fuse by the power supply before you haul it somewhere and they charge you a service charge for a cheap fuse...

Mico does not work no time displayed

Check the power outlet with a lamp. If ok, check inside the case for a blown fuse. If so, there is probably a short in either the magnetron high-voltage supply (a shorted HV diode or possibly a shorted stirrer bearing--a fan-like device with a plastic bearing that is located within the waveguide that delivers energy from the magnetron to the cooking cavity.

Spacemaker quit working.....

sounds like a short in unit and if it is then must be taken apart to observe operation and failure spot. depending on the age GE has warranties that cover magnatron up to five years< most likely cause of problem> suggest calling company before procieding any further.

Sensor error

I pulled the cover off and found a 20A fuse and replaced that. I wish I could say that fixed it, but it didn't, it was 10 years old, so we just bought a new one.

The vent fan and surface light do not work

1. Check your circuit breaker for this m/w. Reset it.
2. Microwaves usually have 20A fuse inside. It could be broken.
