Is there any soft to play rm files on my phone ? where and what it'is? thanks

You might need to do a Soft or Hard reset. A soft reset will not erase your data.

For re-installing the software you need the RM-XX Adapter for your device.
Remove the battery from behind the phone and you will see an RM-XX code.
Buy the Nokia flashing machine and corresponding RM-XX Adapter. Flashing machine comes with the default software for all phones.

Flashing machine communicates with the Computer through an USB port through which you can reflash the phone's ROM.

Personal Advice: If you plan to do service by yourself for a number of phones, you can buy those equipments, or else its better to give it in a shop. Because the equipments costs around $150.

Yes it's usual with some mobile phone .... they cant support some file format... may be the file you are transferring from laptop to mobile is not supported by mobile.

If there's no database or firmware problem, it should play mp4 audio streaming files, but remember, it doesn't support "Mp4" video files. It supports only ."3gp" video files and "mpeg4.rm".
If you have installed or if you use application like smart movie, then definitely it would support other formats too. But unless you install additional codec, it'll never be able to play other files except 3gp and mpeg4.rm.

Your ringtones will be in Filemanager/sounds.Please check whether you can access the ringtone there and you can play it. This is because you cannot play all the file formats in your phone.If it is possible, then just press right soft key and you can see the options for setting it as ringtone.PLease ask if you need any further info.Njoy

RM is real media player and it should be played with a right codec or in a real player.
