Your lcd screen is cracked and the only repair that you can do is replace the screen. This is not easy to do and usually not cost effective, assuming an exact replacement screen can even be found. Sell the tv for parts on ebay or craigslist.
Hi Remove the back of your tv and you will see a sticker with the part number of the screen on the screen itself, Take this down and Ebay for a replacement there a plenty on there at around £75 with shipping. Hope this helps
This is an easy fix using the Philips remote control that came with your tv. On the center of the remote is a dial that has left right up down controls. Stand in front of the tv and using those controls you can recenter the screen and get rid fo the green line. I had same problem when we hooked up hd satellite reciver to philips 37 plasma
If that TV has a 'menu' button on the front of the set, make sure nothing like coca-cola has spilled into where that switch is located. I would try a different remote in case the remote is getting flaky....
