Not heating

If you can hear the dryer start and operate but at end of cycle your clothes are wet then it is likely (assuming the heater is turning on) that the fluff collection on the condensor unit is blocking its operation.
Refer manual at this site and follow instructions on page 20.

My Zanussi TCE7124W is not running cycles properly and the clothes are still wet at the end of a run

The filters are clogged.
• The condenser is clogged.
• The water reservoir is full.
• The selected cycle is not suitable for the laundry.
• Insufficient drying time.
• The laundry has not been spun properly.
• The low-temperature function selected.
• Excessive laundry load.
• The dryer is not correctly installed.
Also, check the heater elements.
For the movement, check the drive belt has become worn or snapped. To test your tumble dryer's drive belt, we recommend you manually spin the drum. If it is stiff and difficult to move, the drive belt is ok, if it is easy to move, there's a good chance the drive belt is the fault.

E15 error code on hoover tumble dryer

Controls
  • The control unit on the tumble dryer will vary among different makes and models. The main purpose of the controls is to allow the user to select the drying cycle. You can choose the time and temperature setting on most units, while others allow custom settings such as moisture sensors and end-of-cycle alert signals. The controls may include a dial or a touch panel and LED screen display. Some tumble dryers allow you to independently select the appropriate time for the load you are drying and separate programs for temperature.
Motor
  • The motor inside the tumble dryer spins the basket to allow the clothes to tumble while being dried. The tumbling action allows the air to pass through the clothing to dry them faster. Heating laundry that is stagnant will likely dry the clothing on the outside while leaving damp clothing inside the pile. The constant motion, along with the heat and steam created by heating the clothing, reduces wrinkles. The motor also powers the fan that delivers the heated air to the basket of laundry. The heater can be an electrical element or gas powered.

Not dry laundry

No I understand that .. Is your dryer 220V electrical source? If so it sounds like you have an electrical problem with the voltage supply to the dryer itself. I for some reason the dryer is only getting 110V that will allow the drum and dryer to function but the heating element will not .. You may need to talk to an electrician if you are capable of doing that yourself

Wet towels & blankets stacked on working dryer

This won't affect drying time unless the load is so heavy it causes the cabinet to warp and disturb the door seal. If you haven't had any problem with this so far you can probably keep doing it. (The machine is designed to support the weight of a wet load in the drum, and should have some safety margin. But why not invest in a roll-around laundry cart like you find at laundromats and keep the wet load there until the dryer is clear?) You might need to be more concerned about rust starting on the top of the cabinet if the enamel is scratched, since it's not usually subjected to wet loads being piled there. You should also check your vent pipe frequently to make sure it stays clear with all the drying you do. Clogged lint screens and vent pipes will definitely lengthen drying time.
