Connection Samsung VP-L630 8mm CAMCORDER - Dazzle Description: I have installed Pinnacle Studio 11 and wants to save my films from my Samsung VP-L630 8mm CAMCORDER to my computer. I have bought a Dazzle videocreator for this purpose. The issue now is that I cannot see my films in Studio eventhough I have the correct cables. When I go in to "My computer" there is nothing in the file. What is wrong?

Are you on Windows? What version (XP, 98, Vista, etc?)
What file system are you using (right click on the drive in My Computer and select Properties)

If you are using FAT32, there is a built in limit to 2GB files. If you are finding that your capture is hitting 2GB (=103min?) and then crashing, this may be your problem. Also, consult the capture settings in the Dazzle software and ensure no file size or running time limitation is selected there.

Now if you need Studio program just call Pinnacle customer service and then asked for the replacement disc for $14.95 only.

The reason why it is now showing because your computer did not detect it. If your Windows operating system is vista 64 bit then go ahead and download the driver in here. www.pinnaclesys.com then click on support, download/Studio and dazzle hardware for vista.

video capture filter
video image
tick the boxes
ext audio and usb audio
then go back to video capture filter
on video decoder
change the video to ntsc _433
then you will have audio and black n white picture then
change ntsc_433 to secam_B
than load pinnacle then capture/import

then you will have picture colour audio
