It depends on the inputs for your TV on the back. You may well have a RGB input, which means you can just buy a standard RGB cable and plug it in. Your laptop might have a HDMI output and your TV might have an HDMI input, in which case an HDMI lead is necessary. You will need to either look at the back of your TV and see what connections are there or read the user manual for your TV to see what connections are there. Post back what kind of connections both your Laptop and TV have so we can help your further. (This isn't a router issue btw!)

How to conect my laptop to Niko tv ?

Hi,

Initially, it is required to determine what video out is available from your laptop. Most laptops have the standard 15pin VGA out as a secondary video port. Still others have a single yellow RCA for composite video output or an S-video output and some newer ones have DVI and/or HDMI. Thereafter, you need to determine what king of INPUT connection would be acceptable by your TV. Most TVs have the single yellow RCA for composite video input or an S-video input. Some high ends have VGA, component, DVI and/or HDMI. As soon as the common connection point has been established, the appropriate cable has to be sourced. it will also be necessary to determine the maximum screen resolution of the TV so as to set the Display Properties/Screen Resolution of the laptop to match that of the TV. Often to enable the external video/TV, the Fn + F? keys on the laptop must be pressed several times to cycle on LCD display only, LCD + TV, TV only. The F? key on the laptop would be the function key with the smaill monitor icon.

Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
