check HDMI port in ur laptop .if it is there then u can connect your laptop to tv by using HDMA cable.

Does your tv has a vga conection if it does this is easy just conect the vga cable to the the computer and the tv and the computer will dectect the tv authomatically if you're running on windows if you wantto use the computer's screen (that is if its a laptop) and the tv at the sametime you will have to go in to the settings and change it. { control Pannel=Appearenceand Personalization=Display=connect to an external display. .. Some high ends have VGA, component, DVI and/or HDMI. As soon as the common connection point has been established, the appropriate cable has to be sourced. it will also be necessary to determine the maximum screen resolution of the TV so as to set the Display Properties/Screen Resolution of the laptop to match that of the TV. Often to enable the external video/TV, the Fn + F? keys on the laptop must be pressed several times to cycle on LCD display only, LCD + TV, TV only. The F? key on the laptop would be the function key with the smaill monitor icon.
