How do I accent one colour and make the rest black and white?

I thought that when you scanned using the black copy key, scans were B&W, and when using the colour button, scans were in colour

red wire is live (battery) yellow wire live only when ignition is on, black wire is earth(car body) there should also be 4 pairs of wires green,white,grey and purple these are your speaker wires you'l notice with the pairs of same colour eg white one is solid colour one has a black stripe the solid colour goes to live + on your speaker the one with stripe goes to - on speaker, same goes for the rest of the pairs hope this helps

check and make sure the inks are in the correct slots

Advanced: Color Accent To Shoot with Only One Accent Color (the rest in black and white): Turn the mode dial to SCN. Use the arrow directional pad to select Color Accent. User Guide Press SET to edit the accent color. Point the window at the accent color and press the left arrow on the directional pad to set the accent color.

The cartridge may be defective. I had that happen so I returned for another and it worked fine

Sounds like you (inadvertently?) had the Color Accent Mode turned on (an icon which shows an eyedropper with an A next to it), which is available on the same menu where you select Manual Mode.

When you press the Func/Set button, with the icon in the top left corner highlighted, along the bottom you will see the options available, including the Color Accent Mode, any of which are selectable by using the left/right arrows and pressing the Func/Set button again.
