Purchased New Range but it was a floor model. Did not come with owners instructions so tpo burners work great but can not get oven to come on and I believe some of the digital readouts are alittle screwed up. How do I turn on the oven on this model I would like to get the owners instructions.

since each model and each manufacturer operating procedures are different, it is best to read the instruction direct from your owners operating instruction booklet that came with the unit. If you don't have one, you can usually order one from sears parts direct for your specific model.
Yes, your gas range can be converted to propane. Your owners manual will give you step by step instructions. Since there are many different models, there are different procedures involved to convert to propane. On some models you must change the top burner orifices where other models have adjustable orifices. The oven burner has an adjustable orifice(same with broil burner if there is one). The range regulator must be adjusted to stay open all the time because your propane system has its own regulator.
Most likely you need to replace the
WB2X9154 oven igniter. Remove the floor of the oven (two screws at the back wall) and lift back edge up first, then take out the rest of the way. One nut holds the flame spreader. This gets you to the burner assembly. The igniter is the round thing on the side, near the back. Do an "ask me" if you have more questions. If this helps, a "fix ya" rating would be appreciated. Thanks.
The problem is with your Electronic Oven Control (EOC) board and/or keyboard overlay. All the oven features are controlled by the EOC. That's why you're experiencing problems with the oven operations, while the surface burners should be working fine. The cost of a new EOC varies between models. I tried to do a parts search, but could not find any information with the model number you provided. Double check your model number again. It should be located on a nameplate somewhere around the oven door or lower drawer opening. On some models, this information will be located on the back of the range.
To locate parts information, you can go to either searspartsdirect.com or repairclinic.com. Just type in your COMPLETE model number in the Search menu. The part may be listed as an "Electronic Oven Control", "Oven Control", "Main Control", or "Timer Control". Both sites offer competitive pricing, but the Sears site has helpful illustrations that make part identification and assembly much easier.
Do you have a current warranty? Unless you purchased an extended warranty or service plan with your range, most manufacturers only provide a one-year limited warranty. In some cases, however, the manufacturer may have extended coverage on certain items. It may be worth while to refer to your owner's manual to see if there is any warranty information available.
If you go to geappliances.com there is some helpful information under the "Service & Support" heading in the drop down listing under the "Search" window. In addition, there are toll free numbers provided to assist you with any questions you may have.
I hope you find this information helpful to you. Replacing the part yourself will reduce the cost of the repair greatly (if not covered under warranty). Let me know if you decide to repair this yourself and need further instructions.
yep open the oven door unplug the range remove the racks on the bottom liner should be some screws remove them then take the liner up and out if there is a flame spreadder on the burner tube remove it at the back of the burner bar should be the ignighter most new ones are generic you just cut the wires on the old one and splice the new one on with cerramic wire nuts make sure the wires are away from the burner bar reverse dissambily turn oven on should light within 30 secs if ya pluggedit back in
You need to replace the oven igniter. It's what you see glowing. They grow weak with age. TURN POWER OFF before servicing this. The numbers can often be found behind drawer at lower front, on oven frame, on left or right near bottom. Bring model # with you. It should be a standard magic chef igniter. Think it's 12400035. Remove oven floor to access igniter. It's held on by 2 screws in side of burner. Put some dishwashing detergent on them before trying to remove them. Otherwise they might strip out. The new igniter may plug right in or you may have to cut wires and attach with enclosed wire nuts. The 2 wires to it can be attached either way.
good luck. We have the same range and have had issues with the ovens since the range was installed. The overn does not heat evenly on convenction or bake. Thermadore doesn't stand behind the product and neither does the distributor. They tell us that Thermador isn't standing behind the product so there isn't anything that can be done. We spent $8000 for an oven that burns the back corners of everything we bake.
