I am trying to figure out how to set the scanner frequencies

  1. Press hold then enter then enter the channel number where you want to store a frequency. Then press "FUNC" and "PGM" and the channel number will appear.
  2. Use the number keys to enter a frequency including the decimal point you want to store.
  3. Press "E" to store the frequency into the channel.
  4. Note - If you entered an invalid frequency in step two "ERROR" will appear and it will beep three times. Enter a valid frequency.
  5. The scanner automatically rounds the entered number to the nearest valid frequency. ie an entry of 155.174 will automatically be rounded to 155.175
  6. When you enter a frequency into a channel, the scanner automatically turns on the delay function and "DLY" appears. When delay is turned on the scanner automatically pauses scanning.

How do i program my channels

Hello
Your Toshiba tv can be automatically tuned to all stations. The procedure follows.

Programming channels automatically

Your TV can automatically detect all active channels and store them in

its memory. After the TV has stored the channels in its memory automatically,

you can add or erase channels manually.

To add channels automatically:

1. Press MENU, then press "left arrow" or "right arrow" button to display the SETUP menu.

2. Press "Up arrow"or "down arrow" until the TV/CABLE

selection is highlighted.

3. Press "left arrow" or "right arrow" button to highlight either

TV or CABLE, depending on which you use.

If you use an antenna, choose TV.

If you use cable, choose CABLE.

4. Press "down arrow" button until the CH PROGRAM selection is highlighted.

5. Press "left arrow" or "right arrow" button to start channel programming. The TV will automatically

cycle through all the TV or Cable channels (depending on which you

selected), and store all active channels in the channel memory.

While the TV is cycling through the channels, the message

"PROGRAMMING NOW-PLEASE WAIT" appears.

6. When channel programming is complete, the message "COMPLETED"

appears.
7. Press CH UP or DOWN button to view the programmed channels.
OK.

I cannot figure out how to program my scanner to the fire frequency.

To program any known frequency into your BC72XLT, power the scanner ON, and then:

1. Press Hold. Then enter the channel number where you want to store a frequency, then press Func and Pgm. The channel number appears.
2. Use the number keys and to enter the frequency (including the decimal point) you want to store.
3. Press E to store the frequency into the channel.

Notes:
• If you entered an invalid frequency in Step 2, Error appears and the scanner beeps three times. Enter a valid frequency.
• The scanner automatically rounds the entered number to the nearest valid frequency. For example, if you enter 151.473 (MHz), your scanner accepts it as 151.475.
• When you enter a frequency into a channel, the scanner automatically turns on the delay function and DLY appears. When delay is turned on, the scanner automatically pauses scanning 2 seconds after the end of a transmission before scanning proceeds to the next channel. To turn the function off or on, press Func + Dly.
• If you enter a frequency that has already been entered elsewhere, the scanner sounds an error tone and displays the channel that was duplicated. If you entered the frequency by mistake, press then enter the correct frequency. To enter the frequency anyway, press E to

4. To program the next channel in sequence, press E then repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Some channels missing...

Try to tune the tv in manual search method. If you get means store it manually. Nothing to worry. This is due to malfunction in AUTOMATIC FREQUENCY CONTROL COIL weak. Even you won"t get channels in manual tunning method. Change tuner and afc coil. Problem solved.
