The wrong printer is set as the default. See the image below for an illustration.
WHEN I WONT TO PRENT MY PRENTER TOLD ME THAER IS - pattlnk_1132009_021-enus32058def.jpg
What to do
Open the Printers or Printer and Faxes folder and locate the correct printer icon. To do this:

    1. -In Windows XP, click Start > Settings > Printer and Faxes (or Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes).
-In Windows Vista, click Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Printers.

    2. Right-click on the printer icon, and click Set as Default Printer. A check mark displayed above the printer icon now identifies it as your default printer.

    3. Try printing again.

Topic 3: Printer is "Offline"
The printer is set to Offline and the printer icon appears washed-out. See the image below for an illustration.
pattlnk_1132009_022-enus32058ofln.jpg
What to do
Open the Printers or Printer and Faxes folder and locate the correct printer icon. To do this:

  1. -In Windows XP, click Start > Settings > Printer and Faxes (or Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes).
-In Windows Vista, click Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Printers.

  2. Right-click on the printer icon, and select Use Printer Online.

  3. Try printing again.

Topic 4: Printer is not Ready
The printer is in an "Intervention Requested" state (e.g. paper jam, paper out) but no Windows print error notification message is displayed.
Explanation
The print job cleared the print queue. This means the print queue icon has disappeared from the notification area ('systray') of the task bar. The printer is holding the job, however, until the the printer is returned to a ready state.
What to do
Check the printer LCD, or operator panel menu, to verify that the printer is in a ready state. If not, return it to the required status.
Topic 5: Printer is Paused
The printer or print queue is paused and the print queue icon remains in the notification area ('systray') of the task bar.
Explanation
This is typically an end user error. Dragging the mouse cursor over the print queue icon in the notification area will reveal (1,2,3) document(s) pending for (User name).
What to do

    1. Double-click on the print queue icon to open the print queue. (This may also appear as a small printer icon in the lower-right notification area of the task bar.)
    2. Click on Printer in the upper left-hand corner of the menu bar.
    3. Is there a check mark next to Pause Printing?

-If yes, click on Pause Printing to turn off this Windows feature.
-If no, confirm that there is a check mark next to Set As Default Printer and make sure Use Printer Offline is not selected.

Topic 10: Windows Print Spooler Issue
A problem with the Windows print spooler is preventing successful printing.
What to try
Stop and start the Windows print spooler. To do this:

  • -In Windows XP, click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services, click on Print Spooler, click on Stop the service, and then click on Start the service.

  • -In Windows Vista, click Start, type services.msc in the Start Search box, and then click services.msc in the Programs list. Right-click on Print Spooler, and then click Stop. Finally, right-click on Print Spooler again, and then click Start.

Remove the first print job from the print queue. To do this:

  1. Double-click on the print queue icon to open the print queue. (This may also appear as a small printer icon in the lower-right notification area of the task bar.)

  2. Click on the first job listed so that it is highlighted.

  3. Click on Document in the top menu bar.

  4. Click on Cancel.

  5. Click Yes when you see: "Are you sure you want to cancel the selected jobs?"

Topic 11: Other Issues
Other possible causes of a print job not printing include:

  • -USB connection problem if locally connected only.

  • -Firewall issues preventing communication.

  • -Workplace virtual private networks (VPNs) preventing communication. VPN tunneling may be required to ensure successful communication. Enabling this feature may require network administrator approval and assistance.

  • -Document formatting.

  • -Driver settings.

  • -Application-specific issues relating to the application's Printer Setup.

Topic 12: Last Resort
If you have tried all of the above suggestions to no avail, try the following:
  1. Reboot your computer and try printing again.
  2. Turn the printer off and on, and then try to print again.
  3. Install a different printer driver, e.g. PCL, PostScript, HBP, or XPS driver.

My Chevy Optra does not shut off when I turn the ignition off. Two dealers have checked it out and can not find a trouble code. It is 2005

I had a 2006 Chevy Optra that wouldn't shut off as well. When I opened the door it would turn off but as soon as the door was closed the dash lights would come on dim and kill the battery if left long enough. If i pulled the I/P fuse in the engine compartment fuse box it would solve the problem but it killed the dome light as well. Pulling the cluster fuse or the wiper fuse from the i/p fuse box had the same effect....it was a real stumper as alldata had no listing for a 2006 Chevrolet Optra so I couldn't find any wiring schematics at all. I did a bit more research and found that the Suzuki Forenza is the same car. i got a wiring schematic and found out that the dome light module/key-in buzzer is actually in the dome light itself. I unplugged the dome light/module and jumped the orange(batt +) to the pink(ign) that comes directly from the I/P fuse and the car would stay running after i turned the ignition off. I cut the pink wire and installed a diode so that battery voltage couldn't backfeed to the I/P fuse. It's been three days now and every time i turn the ignition off the car shuts off, just like it's supposed to. A faulty dome light module seems to be the problem and a $3 diode fixes it. The people that own the car have spent hundreds of dollars trying to figure this problem out and didn't want to spend another $250 for a module. I hope this helps somebody as it seems to be a popular problem.

Hoe can i prent on each side my prenter isx6650

not all the printers have that function.., the x6650 does not seem to have it but if the one you have do have it, setting up "duplexing" as it is called should be similar to this:

  1. Go to Start, Control Panel, Printers and Faxes. (If the display is in Category view, you will need to click Printers and other Hardware before clicking Printers and Faxes.)
  2. Right click on the Lexmark printer driver and select Properties.
  3. On the General tab of the Printer Properties screen, click Printing Preferences.
  4. Select the Print Layout tab.
  5. Under Duplexing *, select 2 sided and then indicate whether you wish to use the top flip or the side flip.
  6. Click OK to apply your changes.
* if you don't see duplexing your printer does not have that funcion.
now.. there's another alternative if you want to print more that one page per sheet:

Using Windows
1
With a document open, click File -> Print.
2 Click Properties, Preferences, Options, or Setup.
3 From the Advanced tab, select N-Up under the Layout drop-down menu.
4 Select the number of page images to print on each page.
If you want each page image to be surrounded by a border, then select Print Page Borders.
5 Click OK to close any printer software dialogs.
6 Click OK or Print.

hope that helps

OPTRA T 610 Lexmark printer.

It sounds like you are describing the pick arm or autocompensator. It also sounds like you have the printer turned on its right side for that to be on the left. The part you are looking for is part # 99A1056 for the Optra T610.
