I am a lifetime member of Serius. I plan to purchase a new Nissan Cube which offers a radio advertised as ready to accept XM. Does this now mean Serius XM?

Yes, Sirius and XM have merged into one company. I have had Sirius for about 5 years, and it is fantastic....music with no commercials is outstanding. Programing is awesome. Go to Sirius.com and check out more details.

When we turn on the radio we get a message to confirm subscription update what does that mean

Without knowing what year make and model of vehicle you have, it makes it kind of hard to answer for certain. But it sounds as if you are on a satellite service as the source and it is requesting your subscription information. Serviced like Sirius and XM radio is often offered as a demo with new vehicle purchase, but require a paid subscription for continued service.

No fix, you will need the dealer to have the radio pulled and checked.

It won't turn on. Does anyone repair them? I have a lifetime subscription on it

There's a few people on eBay that repair sirius radios in general. The only real way to save your lifetime sub is to take your XM Radio ID chip (containing the lifetime sub info), and place it in a new radio. You'd probably also need to find a working radio if you'd like that repair done (which isn't nearly as easy as I made it sound).

I have a replacement xmp3H1. I had best of serius service on the old radio and recntly renewed service. Now I can't get best of sirius service even though I paid for it

Turn on your XMP3i radio and place it where you have an excellent signal, and power, so you're not relying on only the battery. Tune the XMP3 to Channel 0 to get your serial number, write it down, then tune the radio to Channel 1 and leave it there. Then, call XM Customer Service and explain that you're paying for B.O.S. and then ask XM to send a 'refresh signal' to your radio - that might take a half hour or so, but it should then add the extra channels that you're paying for. Ask then how long to leave the radio on Channel 1 and they'll let you know. Good luck, and let me know how it goes for you. Happy New year too!

2008 Hyundai Azera XM radio "not ready"

I had the same problem. My 2008 Hyundai Azera had 37,800 and my wife went over a speed bump the XM radio went off and displayed "Not Ready". I raised the hood, pulled the negative battery cable for about a minute, replaced it and fixed the problem. Only issue is, this happens every couple of days. I'll probably continue to do this till my xm subscription runs out then to heck with it.

2005 Honda CR-V won't go to XM radio.

"XM Ready" means that you have to have a satelite radio installed in order to have XM service. I went through this when buying my 2005 CR-V and thought that all I needed was to set up the service. If you have an XM receiver installed you can controll it on your Honda factory radio. It is very misleading.
