1. press menu, go to setup, choose info banner off
2. You cannot bypass the SONY logo at start up (sorry)
3. Due to variations in USB implementation, not all products with USB connectors can communicate with televisions that have a USB port. Depending on the television, the USB port may be designated for service use only. Other models allow the connection of Sony® digital still and video cameras.

This particular model does not support USB for personal use

Hope this helps

I can fix it for $325? 213 880 1795
It was a convergence problem, both chips goes bad bad also look for bad resistors around the circuit? This is not an easy repair for non skilled person? You need to realign it after replacing the chips? Don't be cheap pay someone to do it right?

USB folder names-Kenwood KDC-X591

Push the AME button in the upper right hand corner of the unit and at the same time hold the fast forward button on the face of the unit - do this for 5 secs. The word "Code" should pop up (not blinking).

Using your remote control press the following numbers:
5 (two times for letter "K")
2 (three times for letter "C")
2 (one time for letter "A")
7 ((two times for letter "R")

Then using your remote control, press the fast forward button and you are done. "Approved" should pop up on the unit.
