Most common cause of the problem you describe is a bad start capacitor. Remove the cover from the motor unit. The capacitor is about 5 inches long and 2 inches in diameter.

No it is usually black or gray and has 4 wires coming from it. 2 red and 2 blue. It will need to be replaced. No it is usually black or gray and has 4 wires coming from it. 2 red and 2 blue. It will need to be replaced.

If you didn't, try programming the remote this way.
Press and hold the button on the remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button on the motor unit. If this doesn't work you need to make sure you have the correct remote for the model opener you have. Your model number doesn't bring any results from Sears Parts.com.
Try pressing and holding the lock button for 3 seconds to stop the light from blinking. Your wall control may be bad. Usually when that light is blinking it is the remotes that will not work.
Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit. You may need to remove a light lens. Press and hold it for 6 seconds. None of your remotes will work but the hard wired wall control will. Now press and hold the button on your remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Your stolen remote will no longer work.
You probably have the lock enguaged on the opener. On the wall control, there is a button labeled "lock". Press and hold for 3 seconds and then release. the light on the wall button should be solid now. Your remotes should work. If the light is solid and the remotes still do not work, press the learn button on the back of the opener motor and then press the button on the remote. The light on the motor will blink once. Repeat on the other two remotes.
