HP Laserjet M2727 is printing black line down left side of page, whether I print or copy. The ink cartridge is HP & fairly new (18% used). Been using regularly & just statred happening today.

The easiest thing to do is put another cartridge into the machine and to see if the problem goes away. Even if you can get a empty cartridge that is still working. If the black line is still down the left side after changing the cartridge the fuserfilm in your fuserunit might have a tear in it in which case you'll have to send it to a repair centre.

Once a job is sent to an HP P4515N printer the attention light flashes. The printer has paper and the paper size is set correctly.

We hat the same problem on several P4515n printers and replacing the fuserunit solved the problem.

Our printer leaves black spots/blotches all over everything we print. Ive changed the cartrdige and attempted to clean out the printer and these black spots will not go away, what should I do?

I think you'll also have to clean the fuserunit. This is the hot part at the back of the machine. Take of the back covers and you can take it out to clean it.

There is a black line on my prints at the edge of the paper

This is mostly caused by a defective cartridge or a worn fuserunit.

Dirty marks down centre of each page, has been cleaned but still getting marks, toner has been replaced also.

It seems you have a worn fuserunit. By replacing the fuserunit (RM1-1083) the problem should be solved.

Hi, try this.
Feed paper in tray 1.
If this works fine you better replace the roller and separation pad in tray 2.
To test where the swath of ink is comming from try this:
Feed papaer in tray 1.
Send a printjob. As soon as the paper is in the machine open the topcover.
Remove the cartridge and take out the paper carefully.
Check if the swath of ink is all over the side or only there where the paper was in the fuserunit.
If it is all over the side, the cartridge is defective. If its is only there where the paper was in the fuserunit you will have to replace the fuserunit.
Good luck,
Gerrit Jan
