ZEN V PLUS Software Installation

I happen to overlook the warning to install first the software before connecting my new ZEN V Plus to my laptop. Now, whenever I connect my ZEN V Plus to my laptop, it cannot detect the device. Could someone help me what to do? Thanks a lot. I installed the software for the Zen V Plus and then connected my player to the computer. I keep getting a prompt to connect it. How can I get it to work?

    i have a ZEN V Plus and i had to buy a new computer and it dont wanna work, it says that the device is not connected, i already try to restart it and nothing happens, i also reset it and it didnt do anyting either, and every time i connect it to the computer it says that is shutting down and then it restarts, and the computer shows a warning that says that there was a problem while installing the hardware and that device my not work properly, what should i do???

    I installed the software and the program worked several times. Now all of a sudden it won't recognize the MP3 when I want to download.

it seems that ur firmware is interrupted while installation or corrupted while installation.make sure the version is for ur device,then try to update it again.
if this doesnt work try to get an old version of the update

Before reinstalling firmware, first backup your data from the player.
All data will be erased when the device gets new software on it.

Download the firmware from the support page.
Click "Show details" next to the firmware download for an overview of the requirements and instructions.
Connect your player with the computer and install the firmware:
do not disconnect until the installation has completed.

After this the player should have all its maps for the media.

My creative zen stone plus mp3 isnt recognised when connected by a usb to the pc
first install all the drivers and software that came on the cd with the device. if the installation procedure asks to connect the device, connect it, if not, wait with connecting until after the install is complete and after you have rebooted the computer...
