Could be either a TEXT message, or a Voicemail.. Check both and delete from the system.

Hi We have a envelope at the top right corner of our screen.. How do we get rid of it?

Your satellite or cable service has a message for you on your account. Depending on which service you have (DirecTV, Dish Network, etc.) the procedure will be slightly different. But a generic procedure is outlined below:

Using the remote provided by your television service provider, click on menu (might be system or something similar).

Once you are in the system menu, look for account services, messages or something similar to that (it maybe in a sub menu).

Look for messages, mail, or something similar and then read mail or inbox. Once you have read the message(s), the envelope will clear off of your TV.

Hi,

This flashing envelope icon is telling you that your text message storage is full.

1. Go to Messages
2. Select Options
3. Then select SIM messages
4. Select and delete all SIM messages.

This should do it.

All the best!

I have the nokia 5800 xpressmusic which i have just got. in the top right hand corner there is a envelope flashing, when you click on it its says simcard memory full, i have all ready cleared the numbers...

If you've just put your SIM card in your Nokia 5800, you may have noticed a flashing envelope icon at the top of the screen.
This icon indicates that the SIM card's own text message storage is full. This doesn't actually cause problems on the 5800 because it stores its messages in the phone's own memory, but the envelope can look a bit annoying.
To get rid of the flashing envelope:

1. On the standby screen press the white menu button.

2. Select "Messaging"

3. Select "Options"

4. Select "SIM Messages"

5. Delete some or all of the messages from the SIM messages folder using the Options menu.

This should make the flashing envelope go away. You only have to do this once because when the SIM card is emptied it won't fill any more, as the 5800 does not store messages on SIM cards.

Letter size envelope does not fit into the paper holding tray

Hi cmwww920,

Usually letter envelopes are insert long-way into your printer. I recommend using the Microsoft Word envelope wizard to print Sender and/or Recipient addresses on envelopes. Here's how it works:

1) Launch Microsoft Word.
2) Click Tools > Letters and Mailings > Envelopes and Labels...
3) Type in what you want to see on the envelope.
4) The default feed direction is shown in the lower right corner of the dialog box. To change it, click Options and select the Printing Options tab. Adjust the settings as you please.
5) Click OK to exit the Options Dialog Box
6) Click Print (in the upper right corner of the "Envelopes and Labels" dialog box.

I hope this helps - please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Kind regards,
