I have a Sunbeam Convection Bakehouse model BM005 and the bread pan sticks all the time so badly that is it impossible to get the loaf out without mutilating it. What can I do?

We have one and used it for years. What we found works is to take the kneading plate out before it starts cooking. Do this after the beeps to let you know when to add fruit, and the kneading has finished.
This also saves bread as you do not loose a bug chunk in the bottom. Our pan is not very good any more, but we can still get the loaf out without any problems. Just need to let it cool for about 10 minutes out of the machine before attempting to take the loaf out if it is stuck.

I think the BM001 sunbeam bread maker is similar enough to use the BM001 manual. I could be a enought good solution.

I have the same problem. If you have been able to resolve it by other means, please let me know. I am trying to buy a brand new pan.

Sunbeam's agent here in NZ told me the pan is no longer available. Disgusting!

Error code E:02 on Sunbeam Bakehouse BM3500S

That is a temperature warning that is an automatic feature on bread machines. What the machine is telling you is that the oven chamber is still too hot from baking the last loaf. It does that to prevent you from starting another loaf and having that loaf fail due to the high heat killing the yeast. If you want to bake more than one loaf push the STOP button till it beeps, unplug the machine, raise the lid, and leave it open for no less than 20 minutes. It should work fine by then if not let cool off another 10 minutes. It will be cool enough by ½ an hour to start another one.

How is it possible to bake a loaf without a blade inside it?

You can't. To do so would interfere with the cycle and spoil the bread. The blade reverses at the end of the mixing cycle for it to drop flat so it does not stick so far into the bread. If it doesn't, try soaking the blade in warm water for a while and work the blade hinge back and fore to clean, Cleaning this hinge properly needs patience. As for the "ugly end" as my kids call it, we give it to the dog if no one wants it. I've had two previously, ans they were the same.

I have the 5890 Sunbeam breadmaker, I love it except for the kneading blade bakes right in the bread, how can you give a loaf away with that in it?

Hi,
You can take the paddle out of the bread pan after the last kneading cycle and before final rise. Do this rather quickly if you don't have a pause feature so you don't lose any rising time.

Take the bread pan out of the machine, put dough in a bowl, remove paddle, put dough back in pan, put pan back in machine.

Some people suggested to spray a small squirt of olive oil on the shaft to prevent sticking.

Bread stick in pan

I have the same problem too, I just use a plastic or silicone spatula, the kind that you use to scrape the cake mixture off the sides of the bowl, just use the thinnest one you can, I also try to loosen the bread loaf by moving the part that moves the blades, just move it a little, back and forth and try to shake your loaf out. I hope this works.

Banana bread recipe for sunbeam 5895

I have made the following recipe in my West Bend machine with great results. I just got a Sunbeam 5895 at a garage sale - it works great - just wanted a different "shape" loaf! I'm going to use this recipe in my Sunbeam - don't see why it won't work!

Here's the recipe!
1/2 cup softened butter, cut into small pieces for good blending
1 cup mashed ripe banana (personal note: if my ripe bananas don't measure up to 1 cup, I add enough milk to make it 1 cup. Seems to be okay)
2 eggs, large, slightly beaten
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Grease inside of pan and knead bar generously with vegetable shortening (I just spray with Pan Spray). All all ingredients in order listed above to pan. Lock pan into bread machine. Program for quick bread. After a few minutes of mixing, I usually take a rubber spatula and scrape down the sides and stir in any flour that has not been completely mixed. I didn't do this once and ended up with a loaf that had flour coated corners!

Good Luck! Enjoy!

Looking for manual for BM4700 sunbeam breadmaker

Hi. I didn't see a BM4700 Owners manual online, however I've checked the Service Manual.

Part No BM18125 is the Bread Pan assembly, from the looks of things it doesn't come out. Their Spare parts listing doesn't have a separate paddle listed.

Kneading blade stays in the bread

I had that problem with my Zoji breadmaker. I sprayed a little non-stick spray on the blad and it worked. You can also spray the pan.

Removing finished bread from pan

Before the baking cycle begins, remove the bread pan ,shake out the batter onto a piece of waxed paper, remove the paddle from the bread pan, place batter back into the pan, close lid. This way you only have a small hole in the finished loaf. I prefer the 1.5 pound rye bread, and set a kitchen timer for 2 hours 5 minutes-when the "shape" cycle finishes,we remove the paddle.
This is listed in my manual on page 76,item # 7;heading is METHOD.
Front of the manual lists the times for the cycles, just add them up.
(When you dump the batter back into the pan,try to pat down the rough edges,it looks better).
