Most TCL TV's did not require a password to reset factory defaults. They do however have a parental control password, the factory default for this is 0000. Also the code 0812 could override any password customized by the end user. Sort of a super user password.
These work on a large number of TCL models, however they may not work on yours as I am not familiar with the exact model.

When you do a factory reset it eliminates everything and restores unit to the way it came out the box.

You need to go through the set up procedure from scratch with passwords, etc so unit will then download the tiles from your roku account. Check under the settings section to see if you have a listing there for resetting up. If not contact support at TCL and they will tell you what to do.

Do a hard reset to this set, and check. If it do not help you, make sure that the main system control memory IC to this set is faulty and should be replaced. Contact any service technician.
There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To reset the handset, to the factory default settings, follow the steps below:

1. While in standby mode, press the right soft key for Menu
2. Select Settings (9)
3. Select Reset Settings (8)
4. Highlight, using the navigation keys, any of the following:
• All: Sound Profile, Display, Phone, Alarm and Bluetooth settings will be returned to default values
• Sound Profile Settings: Only sound profile settings will be returned to default values
• Display Settings: Only display settings will be returned to default values
• Phone Settings: Only phone settings will be returned to default values
• Alarms: Only alarm settings will be returned to default values
• Bluetooth: Only Bluetooth settings will be returned to default values
5. Press the key to check the box(es) of the desired Reset Settings
6. Press the left soft key for OK to set the Reset
7. Enter the password, using the keypad, default password is "0000"
8. Press the left soft key for OK
9. If prompted, Enter the password again to confirm, using the keypad
10. Press the left soft key for OK
11. Press the left soft key for Yes to reset the handset's settings to the factory defaults
