Just fixed my HE3 elite front loading washer with the F05 error code. My model doesn't have the heating element, just the temperature sensor. Checked the sensor and it was fine. After much creative troubleshooting with a conductivity meter, I found one of the two wires broken under the tie-wrap to the drum - which obviously moves a lot. Spliced the wire, tested a load through the washer, patted myself on the back and popped a cold one. Total repair cost: one connector.
