I first want to apologize for my poor English. I have this supply and I want to use like as a laboratory power. When I make a bypass between green and black wires the fan starts and immediately stops. Why can it be?

Open your power supply check the capacitors color black... if its blown then u must change it... to a new capacitor

My 4.7litre v8 2000 tundra won't speed it stop working when i try to speed

First of all I have to say this, but you shouldn't be speeding. Now, with that said, the tundra is speed is governed and can be bypassed. I believe there is a green 40amp fuse by the battery for the abs. If you remove that then it should lift the governor, but you also no longer have abs, and a working speedometer. Should only be recommended for on the track. Hope that helps.

Emachine ET1810 is not powering on already replaced the power supply

You may have a bad Power On switch. The Power On switch is located inside the plastic Power On button.

This is a generic ATX power on switch, that I have found works in many computers,

Have you bypassed the Power On switch?
If you bypass the Power On switch, and the Power Supply comes on, you have a bad Power On switch.
If you bypass the Power On switch, and the Power Supply does Not come on, you have a bad Power Supply.

Sometimes a new Power Supply can be bad.
Make SURE the ATX main power cable is plugged in tightly.

(I have had an instance recently where I bypassed the Power On switch, and the Power Supply came on, but only as long as the jumper wire was in place. Remove jumper wire? Power Supply went off. Removed the jumper wire, then pressed the Power On button. The Power Supply came on )

Bypassing the Power On switch has nothing to do with the switch itself, or the wires to the switch.
A jumper wire is used in the connector for the ATX main power cable.

My sources indicate the ET1810 uses a 24-pin ATX main power cable.

A jumper wire is used to connect the Green wire (Soft Power On. Also abbreviated as PS_ON) to ANY Black wire. (ALL Black wires are Ground wires)

Looking at the photo to the far right, you will see the Green wire goes down into a socket hole.
This is the Back of the connector.
The jumper wire goes down into the socket hole RIGHT NEXT to the Green wire.
The jumper wire has to go down into the socket hole pretty far.
(Approximately 1/2 inch)

At the end of the Green wire is a metal terminal. The jumper wire has to go down into the socket hole, far enough to touch that metal terminal.
Same thing for ANY socket hole with a Black wire.

(The Green wire is the Soft Power On wire. It is a 5 Volt DC wire. The Black wires are Ground wires.
The jumper makes a circuit from the Soft Power On wire to a Ground wire)

The jumper wire usually preferred is a paper clip straightened out, then bent into a U-shape.
The middle of the U is wrapped with black plastic electrical tape.
This is where your fingers hold the jumper wire.

One end of the jumper wire goes down into the socket hole with the Green wire.
The other end of the jumper wire goes down into a socket hole with ANY Black wire.
The contact is no more than 2 seconds.

Pc power supply,

Must be a poor quality PSU. Sometimes it can be rebranded. Try another PSU. Sometimes a PSU takes out a mobo too

Emachines T2893 , will not power on, there is a small green light on inside on a board.

Suggestion is to bypass the Power On switch, to see if the problem is the Power On switch, or a bad Power Supply.

If upon bypassing the Power On switch, results in the Power Supply coming on, the problem is a bad Power On switch.

If bypassing the Power on switch results in the Power Supply does Not come on, the problem is a bad Power Supply.

Anytime you see a Green wire in a computer, (Personal Computer), power supply's ->power cable, it is for the Soft Power On function.
This way there isn't a cable, (Cord), going from the Power On switch to the power supply.
These are ATX style of power supply's.

The Black insulated wires are Ground wires. ALL of them.

There was a older power supply made, and this was the AT style.

To provide a solution, I'm going to give you some information on the power cables, for Both of these styles of power supply's, then some advice.

Scroll down the page to view the 24-pin power cable, and then scroll down some more, to view the 20+4-pin power cable.

ALL ATX design power supply's use Pin 16 for PS ON, (Soft Power On), which is a Green wire, and ANY Black wire. ALL Black wires are a ground. Pin 15 has a Black wire, and is normally used to put a jumper in, from it to Pin 15. This turns the power supply on. There will be a small spark, and the chance of getting shocked.

What you are doing essentially, is using a personal computer power supply as a laboratory power source, therefore I cannot advise you further, as it is a Safety Hazard.

Want to use the atx-300-12z as a hobby power supply. Need 12vdc.

You're asking for a fire or just burning out the power supply. But,at your own peril, check the yellow wires for 12v or buy a power supply test adapter from ebay. It bypasses the power switch usually done by the motherboard & will fire up the power supply like it was connected to a board. Then test the wires for 12v. Should be any yellow wire,red is 5v. Green is 3.3 or 3v.

I have a problem can you help???

This set model has power supply problems that Protron does not seem to want to fix. The problem is leakage in a diode that eventually shorts a filter capacitor...poor design. Be prepared to buy a power supply board. This is not a component quality issue, it is a P_ss poor design.

Cant turn on my Acer AL1912B

This reply has only historical significance since both are many months old.
Without making a few measurements no exact diagnosis is possible but based on your descriptions, the power supply has to have failed. Kris' problem happened more gradually so whichever part that was marginal allowed a few starts before failing completely Yabbit's failure was more immediate and this one would have been easier to find in a repair.
Switched mode power supplies can be as reliable (and are more efficient) as linear supplies that are much simpler.  But poor component quality can damn a supply to early failure much more certainly than in the linear supply. It could be years before the industry realizes that it can't cheat on quality and still maintain a positive reputation.

Flashing green light

Could be a power Supply fail. It is well known in the trade that Emachine power supplies are very poor. A new power supply is easy to fit and cheap.
