My Acer netbook 8.9" is not booting up. It's stuck in a loop. Looks like it's in a doss screen where it is asking me to choose between starting windows normally, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt and last know configuration of the most recent setting network. I tried to use each of them but nothing works. stuck in the same loop.

Hi,
Boot your computer with the recovery CD In the Drive.
You should get the option ** Boot From CD**
highlight click Yes, and overwrite the O/S.
This will re-install windows over your existing version, replacing any corrupt-deleted-missing Files.

SOURCE: Acer aspire one not booting

your laptop has been turned off without shutting down. all your laptops registries are probably messed up. the easiest way to do is to reformat your computer or restore it to factory settings. unless you have some important files that you cant afford to lose.

You will probably be better off reloading windows from scratch with a fresh install.

Acer m5-581tg Auto repair loop WIndows 8?

it could be a problem with hard drive, try replacing it with a spare hd , if its still the same then maybe you could take out internal battery and put it back in ,even take out mem and put back in at same time of taking out internal battery ,it could help resolving the problems.

Boot loop

Hi,
try pressing the power button and holding it for 10 seconds. Then wait a while. Turn it back on, you may press F12 or other key when the Samsung Logo appears (before Windows Logo) to see the boot options. Choose the one to check for any errors or anything else - Run diagnostics. Then also you may scan your hard drive for any failures.

Then, select all programs, Acer Empowering Technology and Acer eRecovery Management. If this is the first time you have opened the program it will prompt you to set up a password and create a backup CD. Click the Restore button and select the option that reads "Restore system to factory defaults". Wait for the computer to finish the restore process and reboot. I was installing Windows 7 over Vista on an Acer Aspire 11.1 netbook with 2 Gig of ram. The system crashed (the chronic problem with Vista that I was trying to fix). Now I'm in a loop where Windows 7...

Hi,

Have you tried to press F8 when the system boots ( initial screen ) and tried the safe mode or last known good configuration ?

If this does not help, try a recovery disk and it should work.

Acer aspire netbook won't boot. How can it be restored?

This recovery process helps you restore the C: drive with the original software
content that is installed when you purchase your notebook. Follow the steps
below to rebuild your C: drive. (Your C: drive will be reformatted and all data
will be erased.) It is important to back up all data files before using this option.
Before performing a restore operation, please check the BIOS settings.
1 Check to see if Acer disk-to-disk recovery is enabled or not.
2 Make sure the D2D Recovery setting in Main is Enabled.
3 Exit the BIOS utility and save changes. The system will reboot.
Note: To activate the BIOS utility, press <F2> during POST.
To start the recovery process:
1 Restart the system.
2 While the Acer logo is showing, press <Alt> + <F10> at the same time to
enter the recovery process.
3 Refer to the onscreen instructions to perform system recovery.

Acer Aspire One loops on start up screen. All it does is show the acer logo, then shows the ''windows was shut down improperly'' screen with all those options and then goes to the windows xp start up...

Try tapping F8 when the acer window shows, when it shows the muliboot option, scroll down to "Last Known Good Configuration" and hit enter. If it does not boot normally, you will have to get an external dvd drive and boot off the drive with a windows installation disc to perform a repair.

Acer aspire one stuck on windows safe mode restart loop? I turned on my acer aspire one and it is stuck in some loop? It continuely looks like windows is about to start than ends up going back to black...

You have a corrupt Windows system configuration/registry. Someone else chime in if there is hope, but my only solution (given it won't start up in safe mode) is to wipe and reinstall.
