Is this thing working?

according to the service manual there is no separate fuse for blower. If blower does not work at all check a/c fuse if good it could be the fan motor has built in resistor and can easily be bad I hope this helped and not made things worse Mike L.

My guess is that your electric fan is NOT operating at all. Under normal conditions, just going down the highway, your cooling system will function just fine without a fan running. The air flow through the radiator is adequate to keep things cool. However, when you stop, you quickly get into an "overheat" situation. Actually, you should be able to hear your fan begin operating when your engine temperature starts climbing or your air conditioner requires the fan to do its thing. Note: If you've ever severely overheated your engine, your problems may be worse than just a fan not running, but you really do need to confirm whether your fan is operating correctly, or not. Another note: I had a vehicle with a tendency to overheat when stopped. It turned out to be a faulty (leaking) pressure cap on the cooling system.

Try a boost first before taking things apart,sound like low voltage.
Now about the fans.Sometimes it's easier (if the fans will work with voltage applied) just to install a relay and fire it off the switched power wire at the A/C compressor.Use this relay supply to voltage to the fans when the compressor runs.Want fans when not using A/C?Run a "in rad hose" temp switch and run that wire to the same relay to run fans when temp rises.Think after market hot rod stuff and keep it easy and simple,

your home may not be insulated well enough or you could have leaking duct or your system may not be charged correctly ac systems are not sized to cool below 76 degrees above 90 degrees outdoors because this will increase your utility bills during the cooler temperatures. thank your governement and all the regulations we have to follow for this. they would rather you save money than be comfortable. and we are actually in violation of state law and federal law if we install a unit that will cool below 76 degrees on 90 degree outdoor temp

Overheating of a laptop can cause degredation of components and possibly system failure but generally it could be a very simple fix. Best thing to do is to go out and buy a laptop cooling stand for it. The laptop will sit on this stand, which has fans that will blow cool air into the laptop from it's intake below the laptop and this should help to keep it from reaching critical temperatures. I recommend a laptop cooling stand for anyone who owns a laptop as the one fault of almost all laptops is the intake is usually directly below the laptop, and when you rest it on your lap you end up choking out it's air supply allowing it to overheat.

I think you keep in Auto mode. If in Auto mode, you can't change fan speed. Keep in cool/heat mode and then press fan button in remote to select desired speed.

It sounds like maybe an overload for the compressor is tripping and resetting once the compressor cools. Possibly due to a low charge.

sounds like a overheating relay. when it gets hot the air doesn't work. and when you shut off the car it cools and works again. the relay is located near the fuse panel

Go up on roof and using a stick or similar, poke it through the air holes in side & try to turn the fan blade at rear of the air conditioner. Make sure it's off at the time. Try to get 2 or 3 complete revolutions of the fan blades, then try turning it on fan only first,and let it run on fan for a few minutes, then switch to cool. If worse comes to worse and you can't get blades to turn, remove cover on roof (watch for wasps & bees) and spin fan blades a few times by hand, step back & have someone try fan only. If that works, then try cool. Sometimes they get a dead spot from sitting, and that will get it going again, 90% of the time. Let me know how it goes.
