Where can I get the whole motherboard documentation for this type of computer?

Hold ctrl on keyboard and use scroll wheel on your mouse. Scroll wheel down (towards you) zooms out and scroll wheel up (away from you) zooms in (text gets bigger.

Scan it if you want to "embed" part of the document into a Word document or a PowerPoint presentation.

Copy it if you want to give an identical copy to somebody.

Below is a short listing of each of the different methods of determining the type of motherboard in your computer.

1. If the motherboard is in a working computer there are several different software programs capable of determining the type of motherboard in the computer. See document CH000017 under third-party programs for a complete listing of these programs.
2. Unfortunately, without any documentation, determining the manufacturer or model of a motherboard can be cumbersome if the above software solutions do not work. If you have lost your documentation and/or your computer did not included any documentation, you can open the computer and visually inspect the motherboard for a manufacturer and model. In many cases, computer hardware, expansion cards, and/or cables may need to be disconnected or removed before you can inspect all portions of the motherboard.
   
   When looking at the motherboard, the model number and/or manufacturer is usually on a white sticker or a silk screen on the very edge of the motherboard that will have a manufacturer, model, and/or part number that can be searched for additional information about the motherboard.
3. If you only need to determine the chipset and not the motherboard manufacturer or model see document CH000634 for additional information.
4. If you are looking for additional information about the type or form factor of the motherboard, please see our motherboard help page and/or form factor definition for additional information about each of the motherboard form factors and information on how to distinguish the type of form factor.
5. If you are unable to locate a manufacturer or model number of the motherboard, but are able to locate a FCC identification number, it is recommended that you perform a FCC search using that number.

ok first of all you need to google for your perticule motherboard becasue sometimes windows audio drivers stop you installing your motherboard audio drivers and you need to do a long and complicated procceses to either disable them ot uninstall them

It will do a whole PC Audit on your pc, the have a look in the report when it's finished with the Report, It will open as an html document, you'll find your motherboard Model in there, the you can enter that in google, and then download your drivers from the site of the make of your motherboard..

The new motherboard should have came with a manual, that manual should identify all connection points on the motherboard. If you did not receive a manual, I would say that you did not get a new motherboard. If you got an exact replacement for your motherboard, you should be able to find the correct supporting documents on the Acer website. If it is a different motherboard than you had originally, then you might find supporting documents on the motherboard manufacturer's website. You will need to identify the motherboard by manufacturer and model #.

Hello, I have had similar problems with that same motherboard in the past and have found that resetting the cmos (see users manual) or just taking the battery of the motherboard for a few minutes can solve this. CAUTION please remove the power lead on your tower before touching any components inside, and earth yourself first by touching metal.. as static discharge kills pc components..

An easy solution (for me) is to type what I want to insert into a document in its own "notepad" page.

After I've typed what I want to insert, I copy the whole thing (Cntrl + A, then Cntrl + C) from the original document. Then, I return to the document I'm working on, make sure the cursor's where I want to make my comment, and paste it (Cntrl + V). That usually will even keep the formatting from the notepad script.
