Press the HOME button on the remote. You want to find the CLOCK/TIMERS section. Navigate to SETTINGS. Use the arrow keys to select item. Use the arrow keys to set current time. Press RETURN to display the confirmation. Select YES to save the changes.

I have a sony bravia that turns on and immediately shuts down and the red timer light comes on. I can't get the tv to turn on. We have cable and the cable is working well but the tv doesn't respond except for the timer light. Is there anything I can do to reset the timer and get the tv to work.

Probably its not a problem. On the menu You should have a Headphone audio level control (when needed you can mute the set speakers and still have headphone audio).

Sony BRAVIA volume problem

I had this same issue, and solved it by putting the TV in "Theater Mode', which can be acheived by hitting the "Theater" button on the remote.

We lose audio on our Sony BRAVIA KDL-52W4100

This problem appears to be an issue with numerous Sony Bravia owners of the same model. Although still seeking a soulution, it would appear that our cable provider (Verizon) has replaced all of their components and the Geek Squad from Best Buy where we purchased the unit, points the finger at Verizon. None of our other Fios-equipped TV's exhibit this problem so I am glad we bought the service plan with the TV and will continue to seek a remedy.

First, change the batteries on the remote with e new set of batteries. Check to see if you can bring up the menu using the buttons on the TV itself. Let me know what happens
