What is the petrol mix for stihl fs 52 - Garden

A very common mistake... is to use GASOLINE... and
forge to put in the 2-cycle oil...

As soon as the unit heats up... It will stop
(seize - in fact)...

In the Mix
All STIHL gasoline-powered equipment uses a 50:1 gasoline/oil mixture. The chart below can help you figure out the correct measurements to use. For high-performance fuel that requires no mixing, choose STIHL MotoMix® premixed fuel.

My stihl fs 52 I did the high and low still will not stay running??

If memory serves, Stihl recommends a 50 to 1 mix ratio on the gas mixture...( 2.6 oz oil to 1 gal fuel ) I usually run mine just a smidge richer and run a mix of 45 to 1... ( 2.8 oz oil to 1 gal of fuel ) I also add about 1/2 oz of "Stabil" fuel stabilizer to the mix (holds down gumming of the fuel and keeps things running sweet)...hope this helps... ;-D

Every Stihl I have ever touched requires 40:1 fuel mixture.
