Lg hl-dt-st dvdram gh22ns50 does not read any cd or dvd. It does not burn any cd or dvd either.

Try downloading a firmware update on www.lg.com. anyway, my gh22ns40 doesn't work well either, it is blind luck that it will read any cd or dvd. i guess, "life's ****" with "life's good" products...

if warrenty is not over give to them. or it might be a virus which shows like that

this may happen as your DVD reader's lance may got weak. plz check for the same and replace lance if problem exist.
