My DKYN is a ladies large D shape stainless steel case quartz. White leather strap. I have lost the tiny pin head that holds the strap pin in any suggestions please

Take it to K-Mart jewelry dept. and ask them to take the back off to determine the battery you need. They'll do it and only charge you for the battery.

You might look for one on ebay, but you'll probably end up with a replica instead.

The watch part number and a knowledgeable watch maker will provide the correct bracelet. If you WANT a leather strap most models can accept one - unless the case is sculpted to integrate seamlessly with the bracelet, in which case you may not be able to insert the spring bars that are necessary to mount the strap.

The caps are just for decoration. They dont cover anything. To remove the strap, you have to release the spring loaded pins from the underside of the band. There are two on both ends. Reuse the pins with the stainless band but be careful not to have a pin go into the wrong hole because they can't be removed without breaking them!

Stainless steel bracelet ends (so called wings) must be curved flush to the watch case.
Another way is to use curved spring lugs (pins).
