Have a thermador psc364gdzs the spark does not work for the gridle

The spark module is in the ignition circuit for the gas burners. When a burner control knob is turned to the Lite position, it provides voltage to the spark electrodes on the gas burners. If the spark module fails to provide the electrodes with voltage, then it should be replaced.

We have a thermador 5 burner gas range top and the pilot light seems to have gone out. The burners don't go on but we smell gas. How do we re-light it?

Most gas range tops no longer have pilot lights but use an electronic ignition (sparker) to light the burner. Normally when you turn the burner on you should here a snapping or sparking sound, at which point the burner should ignite. Here is a link to the user manual for 36" - 5 burner Thermador rangetop...maybe this will help: http://dl.owneriq.net/a/ac64ae7b-1ed3-44a3-9235-e4dbd8fe4628.pdf

By the way, in the short term you could always use a match to light the burner. JUST BE VERY CAREFUL THE YOU HAVE THE MATCH LIT AND OVER THE DESIRED BURNER BEFORE YOU TURN KNOB TO START THE BURNER!!!!

sounds like you have a bad switch. maybe on the large burner.. some of those switches can be replaced without the whole harness.

Clogged burner on gas cooktop

lowly is it the left burners that won't lite? I only ask as depending on the model some of the Thermador cook tops had simmer control burners. This is a 3 part system on the burners. 1 a simmer control, 2 electric solenoid, 3 potentiors. When you turn on the burner the potentior tells the simmer control to send power to the gas solenoid. At the same time the unit will spark. If your unit has extra low on the left 2 burners then you have this system. The usual problem in the potentior. Hope this helps.

Range wont light

Hi
It sounds to me like a switch problem.
You should check the Gas Valve that correspond to that switch, and also check the Manifolds, there should be one manifold for each set of gas valve switches.
Hope this help.

Cleaning Thermador Cooktop?

To clean the stainless around the star burners try applying Easy-Off oven cleaner around the stars with a Q-tip (spray the cleaner onto the stainless surface first because it's very hard to control the spray output). The cleaner will make your stainless sparkle and the Q-tips allow you to get close enough while controlling the application. Scrub gently with the Q-tip and the stains will disappear within minutes. Wash thoroughly with a wet cloth. I've used this on my older model Thermador stainless cooktop for 5 years.
