I bought this till from some old business.It still have their businees name on till reciepts.How can i customize the name (or change it)
Add items
Turn key to program mode
2 SUBTOTAL
132 SUBTOTAL
Now type the new message for the first line of the receipt using the programming sheet (the one with the alphabet)
00 (double zero button)
CASH
SUBTOTAL
To do the next three lines, just replace the 132 with 232, 332, or 432 and use the same method

As long as you are pressing double zero button, then CASh, then SUBTOTAL, that will save the line you are working on. Make sure you print two receipts as the machine will sometimes print the old details on the first receipt after programming. It is possible that someone has put your logo in another area such as commercial or bottom message area. Try using 532, 632, 732, 832 codes when programming and see if this changes the receipt. Otherwise, we can do a program read to see where it has been saved. let me know how you get on.
To set time and date:
Turn key to Program mode
1 SUBTOTAL
Type the time as HHMM in 24hr format e.g. 1321
Press the X/DATE TIME button (USA model may be labelled @/DATE TIME)
Press CLEAR (C)
Type the date as YYMMDD (year month day in 6 digits)
Press X/DATE TIME
Press CLEAR (C)
Turn key back to REG mode

I have changed the name of businees by the solution which i got from here but the problem still exists as THE CHANGES I HAVE MADE are not taking effects.i.e i type the name but how can i save it?and also how can i save time and date on this casio tk-6000.
