This depends on the extend of the damage. If the board is carefully analysed and if you can sort out the damaged parts take a reading. Check the ouputs that have failed, check into the next stage below till you come to see that all the componets that were burned were identified. If you are able to idetify the value of the burned components, there is no issue but if not we have a real issue.in this case you must seek help with a servicea manual .If only thepoweer transistors/ resistors have blown you can go for the replacement provided you feel confident to go along after the components are replaced. In the first place I never asked how this had happened. was it overloading or otherwise? hope I could Help. Good day.

No power on my JVC Kaboom

Could be a blown fuse... it's located behind the right end woofer when looking at the unit face. Remove the round plastic molding and then remove the actual woofer. You will then have sight of the fuse... it's really hard to reach, will need something like long tweezers to reach in, grab and remove. Replacing is also challenging but you will figure it out (1x 250v 1.25A glass tube fuse)

Hi i have a jvc lt-23x475 tv and all i get is sound no picture the on off button doesnt work neither do the volume or channel buttons what can i do to fix it and would it be worth it to fix it and how much...

HI,
Normally when there is sound and no picture there will be problem with the back light inverter board. But in your case not only the picture also you can't be able to adjust the volume, Power or the channel. So fist of all you have to check the power supply board for any budged capacitor. Watch the first picture you can see the budged capcitor. If there is such capcitor replace them and check again. Remember one thing unplug the power cord and leave it for half an hour then only remove the power supply.

If there is no such capacitors then the problem is with the main logic board of your tv. There is no repair possible with the main board. You have to replace the board. You can buy the main board from the authorise servicing centre for jvc. The authorised servicing center will be relable source.

JVC LT-40X776 will not turn on, electrical outlet is good, remote is good. If you unplug it and reconnect it, the TV will turn on for 1-5 seconds and then turn off by itself and then it will not turn on...

Probably an issue with the power supply. The TV circuitry is set to protect the components when something is broken. Sometimes, it can be the fuse on the power supply board, and sometimes the capacitors burn up. If the TV is under warranty, take it in for service. If it is not, you may try to fix it yourself by first checking the fuse and then checking the capacitors. If you aren't familiar with electronics, I suggest you let someone who is a professional look at it. Good luck!

Jvc 70' lcd tv. power indicator light flashes fast upon power up. no picture

The lamp is burned out, this is an easy fix. Contrary to what the "repairmen" on this site say, you can do it at home with ease. Just type your model into a search engine and order your lamp, they come with great instuctions on how to install.

Firmware crashed, unable to get repair in UK

I also have a faulty unit with discs that hadn't yet been finalised. You can access the discs via your PC. I used a program called IsoBuster by Smart Projects. There is a free demo which you can download. Just google it.

As for the faulty power supply, just scrap the unit and DON'T buy JVC again. Eventually, they will have to listen to the economies of scale.........

Jvc dv mini camcorder

Possible simple fix: disconnect; turn camera off; connect; turn camera on. Also possible that the main USB/FW interface chip has died, in which case service is required.
