The "F1" error code on a Whirlpool Cabrio washer means that the machine control assembly has failed and you must replace it. Order a new assembly from a Whirlpool parts dealer. The "F2" troubles code means that a key on the user interface or keypad is stuck. Look at each key and try to unstick it. Always hit the "Pause/Cancel" button to try and erase the error code. Try restarting the load.

F1(F68)-Pressure Signal Out-of-Range
I telephoned Whirlpool at 1-800-253-1301. Whirlpool acknowledged the F1 fault and will send a serviceman, free parts and labor, to correct the problem concerning the "famous" F1 fault. This is even for washers out of warranty! This concerns model WTW6600SW2 washers. Be sure to get the authorization code from them so the service person cannot argue about costs.

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F1 indicates primary control failure and to resolve this you'll have to replace the machine control assembly. This error should be fixed by whirlpool as its a common issue with whirlpool Cabrio washers, you can call 1-800-253-1301 whirlpool will send a tech. to fix it and pay for the part. tell them you have a F1 code appearing repeatedly,and that you are aware of a "rework" issue regarding the control board, and that you want a service call to be set-up, This is a VERY common problem with this machine, along with the F-51 code which is a bad RPS. The control board will need to be replaced.

There is a recall for the Cabrio F1 error code issue. I had mine fixed for free. They will have to replace the control board. You will need to call 1-800-253-1301 and tell them that your Cabrio washer is having the F1 error code and you read on the internet that Whirlpool has been making repairs. Have your model number, serial number, and purchase date ready for the person on the phone. The guy that repaired mine also replaced the washboard at the bottom for free...just ask the tech about it when he is there.

Well I have the same problem the only way I have found that my washer works is that on the soiler level make sure you put that on the heavy. And that should work I know its a pain but thats what I do and my washer washs with out stopping
