Bosch washer spin only

How do we do this?  there is no spin button and having to restart the entire cycle is awful. thanks.

  • Anonymous Aug 09, 2008

My Bosch 500 plus series washer is 2 weeks old. From day #1 I have had a problem with it spinning every 3 loads. I hate the thought of going through the entire cycle to try spinning again. It is frustrating and a very sad situation especially because of the high end price we paid for this lemon! Please help. I have a repairman coming out soon. Will post what he finds. Thanks all!

I have read the posted instructions but I have a Bosch 300 and there is no delay start button. Is there another way to spin only?

Had a repair man here for the same issue. Learned two things:

1. Too much detergent causes 'soap lock.' The electronics will get confused when there's too many suds left after a rinse and shut the spin cycle down. That's why re-running the entire cycle without more detergent solves the problem. Use less detergent.

2. There is a way to manually get the spin cycle to run using diagnostics codes. Here's what my guy did:

a. Washer selection knob in OFF position.
b. Hold the 'Spin Selection' and 'Delay Start' buttons down at the same time.
c. While holding those two buttons, turn the Washing selector knob to Permanent Press-Cold.
d. Keep the buttons held down until the LCD control panel reads 'P:01'
d. Release buttons.
e. Use the 'Spin Selection' button to cycle thru the codes. Stop when it reads 'P:04' which is the spin cycle.
f. Press 'Start/Pause' button to begin the spin cycle.

I don't know what the other codes do but this should save you from having to run the entire wash cycle.

Hope that helps! Tim

For the 800 series, you turn the dial to "Rinse/Spin." The "Extra Rinse" will display "+1" as if you selected an extra rinse cycle. Pressing "Extra Rinse" now will remove the "+1" and the time will reduce from 22 to 13 minutes. You will also see a swirl about the spin indicator. The machine will now spin only when you press start.

Bosch Nexxt 100 series front load washer will not spin. The machine will go through the entire wash cycle from wash-rinse-spin-finish but does not spin. I tried a separate spin cycle and nothing happens....

Just going on these symptoms, you may need a new control/timer.
Inside the control /timer are electrical contacts, and when your machine gets to that part of the cycle, the contacts are not closing to allow the cycle to complete.
If you have circuit board, you will perhaps need a new one of those.
If you do not, probably a control/timer assembly.
If you type "SeasPartsDIrect" into you computer's search engine, and then type your complete model number into the blank when you are asked for it, you may look at the schematic and see whether you have a control / timer or a circuit board.
God bless your efforts.

Making an awful ratcheting noise during aggitation and spin cycles

Under the agitator there is a rachet mechanism that works the agitator. If it is stripped, it will skip until the next good tooth.. when it fails entirely the agitater will stop going back and forth. Its nylon and age along with overloading hastens its dearg.. If you can get the parts you can replace it yourself without difficulty. There is a single bolt in the center of the agitator top . Remove and loft agiyator straight up.

Bosch Classixx 1200 Express wont spin!!!! HELP

Make sure that all the water has drained from the washer, if it has a filter, remove and clean, it is located behind a removable plastic panel at the front of the m/c, if it still does not spin, suggest you remove motor and check the brushes for wear, this is often the reason it won't spin, but will wash o/k.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks

My Bosch Nexxt Essence front load washer is making a knocking and squeaking noise during the whole spin cycle. It sounds like it's coming from the drum mounts - what should we do?

My Bosch Nexxt Essence front load washer will not drain. I changed the lint filter, and insured that the drainage hose was free of debris. I removed all the wet clothes, wrung out the excess water, and redistributed the clothes. Still, no draining or spinning. Initially there was a humming sound, but now there is no sound at all when I try to restart the drain or spin cycles. All the lights are appropriately "on".
